yeaH...one more nice song~~~from westlife

Have You Ever Been In Love....

See full size image

In morning light
Half awake and half asleep
Have you ever laid there thinking
Was it all a dream?
But you reach out and she's there
Every moment, everywhere
Have you ever been in love?

Have you ever felt
How far a heart can fall
Have you ever stayed up waiting
For a telephone call
Just to hear her say hello
Cause you miss each other so
Have you ever been in love?

Have there been times to laugh
And times you really want to cry
Finding reasons to believe her
cause you'd die a little if she lied
And when in times of doubt
Have you ever tried to work it out
But still she leaves you wondering
What it's all about

And when she's far away
Have you ever felt the need to stray
And tried and then discovered
It just doesn't pay
Cause with her, you can be true
And with her, you can be you
Have you ever been in love?

Have there been times to laugh
And times you really want to cry
Finding reasons to believe her
Cause you'd die a little if she lied
And when in times of doubt
Have you ever tried to work it out
But still she leaves you wondering
What its all about

And when the night comes down
Can you call your house a home
Do you dream you're still together
And wake up alone
Have you ever been in love
The way that I'm in love
Have you ever been in love?
Have you ever been in love?

another nice song~~~MORE THAN WORDS...

Saying I love you
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy it would be to show me how you feel
More than words is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
Cos I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
More than words
Now I've tried to talk to you and make you understand
All you have to do is close your eyes
And just reach out your hands and touch me
Hold me close don't ever let me go
More than words is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
Cos I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
More than words.

song sharing..

just wanna share a meeaningfull song...from Westlife
hope u will like it..

Everybody's looking for that something
One thing that makes it all complete
You find it in the strangest places
Places you never knew it could be

Some find it in the face of their children
Some find it in their lover's eyes
Who can deny the joy it brings
When you've found that special thing
You're flying without wings

Some find it sharing every morning
Some in their solitary lives
You'll find it in the words of others
A simple line can make you laugh or cry

You'll find it in the deepest friendship
The kind you cherish all your life
And when you know how much that means
You've found that special thing
You're flying without wings

So, impossible as it may seem
You've got to fight for every dream
Cos who's to know which one you let go Would have made you complete

Well, for me it's waking up beside you
To watch the sunrise on your face
To know that I can say I love you
At any given time or place

It's little things that only I know
Those are the things that make you mine
And it's like flying without wings
Cos you're my special thing
I'm flying without wings

And you're the place my life begins
and you'll be where it ends
I'm flying without wings
And that's the joy you bring
I'm flying without wings....

After test~~

Saturday....

What can i do?

Yesterday, we had had a test-spec. math. 1st test and i felt very bad after the test (actually not that bad). Coz i did wrong for the 1st question!!! However, what has been done is been done, just keep this as a not-very-sad memory...hehe

weekends~ Usually i will spend my time with my laptop but now i have to split my time into two-study and entertainment. Test and test are coming next week!

College's life is becoming buzy and i have to be more capable to such life. It makes me suddenly miss my high school's life. No doubt, i had much more freedom during high school time as i could do many things that i like with my old friends (tears starting to fill up my eyes).

Life Goes On....so, good bye high school's life, welcome college's life..

Australia~Drover

“Australia”-a Baz Lurhmann's film is told through the eyes of a half-white, half-aboriginal boy named Nullah (Brandon Walters). Nullah's story tells of Lady Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman) and her love affair with Drover (Hugh Jackman) against the backdrop of cattle rustlers attempting to swindle Ashley out of her land and her profits, following by the bombing of Darwin by the Japanese in 1941.

The character in the story which I would like to discuss about is Drover (Hugh Jackman). Drover, in the story is narrated as a muscular and handsome drover, with unshaved beard making him look fierce. His job is clearly as stated through his name-droving throughout the whole Australia, moving cattle along the land of Australia to a certain destination by order.

Drover is an experienced drover, which we can see it through his master’s skills in riding horses and managing a herd of cattle which consists 1500 of cows. On the way herding the cattle to the port, Drover, Lady Sarah Ashley and his other partner face a lot of hurdlers which almost all caused by the main antagonist in the story, Neil Fletcher (David Wenham), the evil station manager of Faraway Downs which betrayed and murdered Ashley’s husband. Drover uses his experience to help in solving the problems and protecting their lives.

Although Drover seems to be harsh, unapproachable and bad-tempered, he has a heart of gold instead of a heart of stone. He likes to help and defense the socially underprivileged group especially the aborigines. His high-moral characteristic is obviously performed in his willingness to befriend the indigenous guy and take them as his trusted partners whenever he goes for droving. The close relationship between Drover and the aborigines is fully described when Drover’s aboriginal partner willing to sacrifice his life to make sure Drover and the kids succesfully escape from the japanese in their attempt to rescue the kids on the “Missionary Island”.

Furthermore, Drover is a loving person. He loves Lady Ashley and Nullah, the “half-caste” child very much. we can see clearly when Drover rushes back to Darwin without thinking much to search for his beloved after he get the news that Lady Ashley has died in the booming of Darwin by japanese. His love to Nullah is shown when he risks his life and makes the attempt to “Missionary Island” in rescuing the aboriginal kids with just two partners.

Facing difficulties all the time during his job on droving, Drover has developed a determined characteristic. He is not the type that gives up easily; instead he will keep fighting until his entire mission is completed. For a good example, when he and his partners face the problem where all the water supply has been sabotaged by Fletcher’s men, Drover still stays calm and leads them cross through the Never Never desert which they finally succeed in droving the cattle to Darwin.

movie review~ Coach Carter

The movie “Coach Carter” is about the true story of a coach who tries to teach his players that there’s more to life than basketball.

Ken Carter (Samuel L.Jackson), a former star player for his high school basketball team, Richmond Oiler, returned to his high school as the head coach of the team, after establishing himself in business field. Taking the job as head coach of the team, Ken Carter found that the players of the team are not developing well in either skills or disciplines and it causes the team in winning just 4 games all along the last season.

Ken Carter intended to change his players’ miserable attitudes and their dismal performances. Besides, he discovered the importance of going into college for those boys in order for them not to follow his former teammates which most of them ended up in jails. So, he came out with a plan which he put his players under certain obligations mandated in a contract form and forces them to sign the contract as a requisite to play for him. The contract stipulated that all players had to be acting in a respectful behaviour, maintaining an average 2.3 grade point, sitting in front rows during class and wearing jacket and tie during the game day. Yet, his tactics caused Timo Cruz and two of their last season’s best scorers quit the team.

Under Carter’s tough and intensive training, his team soon become undefeatable throughout the season, setting up a 16-0 winning strike record and carves Richmond Oiler’s name on the State Champion’s trophy. The players of the team, nonetheless, developed towards arrogant, proud. They taunted their opponents every time they took the victory.

The climax of the story was when Carter found that his players didn’t obey what they had promised to Carter since the very first day. Their results in exam had totally made Carter gone insane. So, Carter was forced to take a drastic action by locked up the gym and benched his team. His act had become a controversy among the parents and even the media. By the 4-2 votes to end the lockout, Carter decided to quit his job. Yet, when he went back to gym for packing, he was heartened by the determination of his players which all of them were studying in the gym and the answer “what is your deepest fear” by Timo Cruz.

Although at last they lost to St. Francis at the first round of high school Championship, Ken Carter was proud with his players. The ending of the story stated that six of them were managed to get scholarship and go to college.

Throughout the movie, there are several social issues related to teenagers. One of them is the morality which seems to be no longer exists among the teenagers. The players of Richmond Oiler are not showing their respect towards the oldies instead they use rude words such as, “Niger”, “shit”, “bitch” in conversation with others. Besides, the movie also displays the issue of drug-dealing. Timo Cruz in the movie always hangs out with his cousin who is a drug dealer and he also involves in that. But after his cousin was shot by the roadside, he finally realizes his fault and seeks help from Ken Carter. Teenage pregnant is also shown in the movie. Kyra, in the movie is pregnant and the father is Kenyon Stone, one of the players. After they knew about the new, Kenyon feel s anxious as he is just high school student and would not has the ability to take good care of both Kyra and the baby. Kyra, nevertheless, insists on having the baby. They cannot come out with a solution and ended break up. However, at last, Kyra takes the decision to go for abortion.

After watching the movie, I am able to get some messages:
Teamwork is the keyword to success in a team or group.
We should develop a respectful attitude towards other.
Do not even try to involve in drug-dealing activities.

Some memorable quotes I like in the movie:
Timo Cruz: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Jason Lyle: You said we're a team. One person struggles, we all struggle. One person triumphs, we all triumph

Coach Ken Carter: You shooting the ball, what's your name?
Jason Lyle: Jason Lyle, but I ain't no sir.
Coach Ken Carter: Oh, well are you a madam? [team laughs]

So unfortunate....

everything starts on wednesday...

i felt a little sorethroat that morning and i thought maybe it was caused by the chicken burger at that midnight...so, i din't bother about it and went to classes as usual..then came the maathematical studies class as well as the disaster for me...

after the class, i began to feel dizzy...add insult to injury, i still went to play basketball with my clique. can't deny, they are basketball-crazed, as well as me...i have no idea with what happened to the God that day...it rained by the time i was playing...

that night, i slept with tall boon in his room, letting the inocent Michael to be the victim of the freezing, cold room(my room)...

the next morning, a "wonderfull" Thursday morning, i woke up and felt my body was extremely hot...omg!!!i had a fever!!!! yet, feeling fatigued and exhausted, i still went for bath and prepared for class..

at the begining, i felt quite ok during MPW class..but the devils of fever started to concur my whole body during Accounting class..i can't stand with the feeling anymore, so, i decided to go and take a nap in other classroom..

after the class, i went to the Special Respons Unit (special unit set up for the recent H1N1 issues), under persuasion of my friends. 2 indian officers of the unit started to check my body temperature and blood pressure. they urged me to go to the clinic for futher checkup as i had a nearly-38d.c.-high fever....

H1N1???? normal fever???? H1N1???? i started to worry upon waiting for INTI's staff to send me to the clinic..

upon reaching the clinic, in fact, not a clinic, it was NCI Cancer Hospital, i went into the hospotal and registered.while waiting for the doctor, i saw another INTI student there. she is the student of AUP program, but her name, i have no idea.

the time to find out the truth had came..i went inside the room and met a female doctor. she the started with checking my body temperature, then measured my pulse and asked me some questions.at last, she said it was just a normal fever..huh!!!wat a relief....i'm free from H1N1!!!

after that, i went back to hostel and sleep for the whole day.the next day, i din't attend for the math class...(not skip class, i have mc). i found that mc is powerfull.haha...but i still went for econs. class at 2.30p.m. (honestly, i'm a gud student.hehe..however, i feel sorry to the doctor as she asked me not to go anywhere in three days time).

up to today, i'm getting better. just has one thing need to suffer-medicines...anywhere, i have to finish the medicines though i hate it...

just some advices to my friends: take good care of your health, don't ever let Mr. Fever beat you...
